More about Twelfth Night, or What You Will - Globe

Prepare to have your world turned upside down as Shakespeare’s dizzying tragicomedy,?Twelfth Night, or What You Will, sweeps into the Globe Theatre in an intoxicating whirlwind this summer.

In Illyria, it’s a day of celebration but not everyone is in the mood for frivolity: the lovesick duke; the mourning heiress; the besotted steward, to name a few.

Enter shipwrecked, grief-stricken Viola. As she quickly tries to learn the rules of this new bittersweet society, she soon finds herself in a strange love tangle, fuelled by loss, longing and secret desires. But love can be as changeable as the weather…

Robin Belfield (Princess Essex, 2024) returns to unleash Shakespeare’s topsy-turvy tale of the power of love and freedom of expression into the Globe.
