The highly anticipated Diamonds and Dust will be the inaugural production at London’s newest West End venue, the Emerald Theatre. This glamorous theatrical spectacle marks the directorial debut of burlesque icon Dita Von Teese, who will also star in the production.
Opening on 16 June 2025, Diamonds and Dust tells the story of a notorious Wild West card dealer navigating a male-dominated world while taking on Lady Luck herself. Conceived and directed by Von Teese, alongside Tosca Rivola, Dee Parsons, and Julian Stoneman, the show blends Old West legends, casino culture, burlesque, and high-stakes stunts. Von Teese will perform as Lady Luck in select shows, wearing costumes designed by Jenny Packham and bespoke footwear by Christian Louboutin.
Rivola, co-creator and producer, described the production as a “bittersweet love letter to the American West,” celebrating its romance and danger. Aaron Mellor, CEO of Tokyo Industries and owner of the Emerald Theatre, expressed pride in launching this ambitious project in the heart of London’s theatre district.
Audiences can look forward to an immersive experience, including a curated dining option by Lara Norman and late-night entertainment on select nights. The show’s official gala opening is set for 3 July.
Von Teese promises a dazzling blend of glamour and Americana: “We can’t wait to share our theatrical production with London’s glittering West End.” For tickets and details, visit the official show website.
