Broadway Hit 'Stereophonic' Comes To The West End

London theatre lovers, brace yourselves! The critically acclaimed Broadway sensation Stereophonic is set to transfer to the West End this May, offering UK audiences a chance to experience the show that has taken the US by storm.

Written by David Adjmi in collaboration with songwriter Will Butler (formerly of Arcade Fire), Stereophonic dives into the tumultuous 1976 recording sessions of an Anglo-American rock band. Fueled by personal conflicts and fractured relationships, the band is on the brink of producing a monumental album. Though a fictional story, the play draws strong parallels to the creation of Fleetwood Mac’s iconic Rumours.

The production has already made history, receiving more Tony Award nominations than any other play. It won five of its 12 nominations during its limited Broadway run, where it earned glowing reviews. Time Out New York awarded it five stars twice, praising it as a “richly satisfying multitrack production.”

Directed by Daniel Aukin, the West End transfer will feature original Broadway cast members Andrew R. Butler, Eli Gelb, and Chris Stack. While the London buzz is just beginning, theatre fans are encouraged to book tickets early – if the US reception is anything to go by, Stereophonic is poised to become a sellout hit.

Don’t miss your chance to witness this electrifying tale of rock 'n' roll drama and creative genius. London’s West End is ready to embrace the magic of Stereophonic.
