An all-star cast is set to celebrate the 125th anniversary of Noël Coward’s birth with A Marvellous Party, a charity gala in London’s West End this November. The event, directed by Daniel Evans, co-artistic director of the Royal Shakespeare Company, will showcase excerpts from Coward’s plays, sketches, and songs, including never-before-seen material. It will highlight Coward’s wit, fashion sense, and his famous friendships.

Musical direction will be led by Tom Brady of Guys and Dolls fame. A stellar lineup of performers includes Hugh Bonneville, Judi Dench, Damian Lewis, Cush Jumbo, Lindsay Duncan, Robert Lindsay, Gyles Brandreth, Hilton McRae, and Giles Terera, with more names to be announced.

The event also celebrates the next generation, with youth groups and bursary recipients supported by the Noël Coward Foundation participating. Proceeds from the gala will benefit both the Queen’s Reading Room and Acting For Others, two charities close to Coward’s philanthropic spirit.

Produced by Julian Bird for Green Rooms Ents, A Marvellous Party will take place on Sunday, 17 November 2024, at the Prince of Wales Theatre. The gala promises to be an unforgettable evening, honouring Coward’s lasting legacy.
