Disney’s Hercules To Hit The West End

Disney's "Hercules" is set to bring its legendary tale to the London stage, delighting audiences at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. Based on the beloved 1997 animated film, the musical follows the young demigod Hercules as he discovers his immense strength and power, embarking on a journey to become a true hero. Fans can look forward to iconic songs like "Go the Distance," "I Won’t Say (I’m in Love)," and "Zero to Hero."

The stage adaptation of "Hercules" has been in development for several years, with notable performances at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park and the Paper Mill Playhouse. Most recently, the show had a successful run in Hamburg earlier this year. The musical boasts music and lyrics by Alan Menken and David Zippel, a new book by Robert Horn and Kwame Kwei-Armah, and direction and choreography by Casey Nicholaw, who joined the production during its Hamburg stint, with co-choreography by Tanisha Scott.

Opening in the summer of 2025 at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, currently the home of Disney’s stage version of "Frozen," this highly anticipated production promises to bring the magic of "Hercules" to life.
