Adam Kay Sets the Stage with Undoctored in West End Comeback

Adam Kay is all set for a West End encore this fall, limited to a seven-show spree.

Hailing from Brighton, this doctor who transitioned into a writer-comic authored the hit memoir "This Is Going to Hurt." Released in 2017, this piece quickly transformed into a stage act by 2018 and later evolved into a multi-BAFTA-awarded BBC series with Ben Whishaw at its helm. With notable performances at locales ranging from EICC (Edinburgh Fringe's premier venue), Hammersmith Apollo, to the renowned Garrick Theatre in the West End, Kay's name has resonated in the entertainment domain.

His upcoming act, "Undoctored," inspired by his 2022 publication, is perceived as a sequel to "This Is Going to Hurt." This rendition is expected to be peppered with Kay’s tales from both within and outside the medical world. A note for potential viewers: the performance comes with a 16+ age advisory due to certain medical content that might be unsettling for some.
