A brand-new tour of the beloved musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is set to take off in April of next year.
This extraordinary production, featuring captivating music and lyrics crafted by Richard M Sherman and Robert B Sherman, the brilliant minds behind Mary Poppins, draws inspiration from the iconic 1968 film and has been skillfully adapted by Jeremy Sams. Originally gracing the stages of the West End in 2002, the show has become a fan favorite. Its enchanting score includes timeless melodies such as "Truly Scrumptious," "Toot Sweets," "Hushabye Mountain," and the Academy Award-nominated title song.
The heartwarming tale unravels the extraordinary adventures of a magical flying automobile and an unexpected journey undertaken by a family to a peculiar fictional European nation, where innocent children are unjustly captured by a wicked childcatcher.
Under the expert direction of Thom Southerland, known for his remarkable work on Titanic and Parade, and with stunning choreography by Karen Bruce, recognized for her contributions to BBC's Strictly Come Dancing and The Bodyguard, this fresh production promises to be a visual spectacle.
