The Play That Goes Wrong Reveals New West End Cast

New cast has been announced for comedy The Play That Goes Wrong in the West End as the show continues its run into 2024. The show is set to play at the Duchess Theatre all the way through 28 April 2024.

This longest running play at The Duchess Theatre and the longest running comedy in the West End follows the (mis-)adventures of the amateur theatre troupe trying to stage a mystery play called Murder at Haversham Manor.

The amazing new cast, taking over on 4 April, will include: Rolan Bell as Robert, Daniel Cech-Lucas as Chris, Luke Dayhill as Jonathan, Lucy Doyle as Sandra, Iona Fraser as Annie, Gavin Dunn as Trevor, Keith Ramsay as Dennis and Ross Virgo as Max.

Completing the cast will be the understudies: Harry Bradley, Rosie Meek, Elliot Goodhill, Hisham Abdel Razek, and Tommi Vicky.

Mark Bell is the director of the show with Mischief company members Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields (The Comedy about a Bank Robbery, Groan Ups, A Christmas Carol) as writers.

Set design is done by Nigel Hook, costume design by Roberto Surace, light design by Ric Mountjoy, sound design by Andy Johnson and original score by Rob Falconer. Amy Milburn is the resident director and Sean Turner the associate director .

The show is produced by Kenny Wax Ltd and Stage Presence Ltd.
